Gloria is an Associate within the Property Litigation team, based in Manchester.
Her day-to-day work involves managing a varied caseload of pre litigated and litigated matters, providing early strategic advice, progressing claims efficiently, and preparing cases for trial or settlement. While Gloria's core practice is disrepair litigation, she also handles misrepresentation claims for one of the UK’s largest social housing providers, as well as infringement and telecoms-related matters. This breadth of experience has engrained her commercial awareness and enhanced her ability to adapt quickly to new and complex workstreams.
Gloria is also a senior supervisor within the team. This involves regularly training, mentoring, and supporting colleagues at different stages of their development, ensuring work is progressed effectively, deadlines are met, and quality standards are consistently upheld. Beyond these formal responsibilities, she works on the North America international virtual desk helping to identify and develop connections and work opportunities in the jurisdiction.
Externally, Gloria acts as a Weightmans ambassador on the Manchester Law Society International Committee, helping strengthen relationships with best friend firms and raising the firm’s profile within the wider legal market.
Gloria has advanced negotiation skills and strong abilities in networking and drafting.
